Heavenly Spoon is an amateur game designer who definitely isn’t referring to themself in the third person. They have done way too many weird projects throughout the years, of which this page lists but a few.
The World Ahead
A big-but-light-weight fantasy table-top roleplaying game which foregoes a lot of the usual TTRPG conventions. It is designed to be a fully-fledged TTRPG with a focus on believability and creativity. To achieve this, it uses a flexible, open-ended mechanic to determine how successful an action is and leaves defining the “why” to the players. This same core mechanic is used for everything from travelling to spellcasting to combat. While this core mechanic leaves plenty of room for improvisation during the interesting bits, the rest of the system provides concrete structures for when things would otherwise become drawn out or tedious.
A Wanderer’s Guide to the Feywild
A (free) DMsGuild platinum bestseller about the D&D Feywild setting. The Feywild is a mysterious place, filled with wonders beyond imagining. The guide seeks to inspire dungeon masters who wish to send their party into this realm of wonder. It gives a comprehensive framework for the rules and laws that govern the Feywild, as well as ideas for specific locations, situations, items, quests, and so on. You won’t find adventures or detailed descriptions within this document, but you will find advice and inspiration on how to create these adventures, settings, and characters yourself.
Pocket Monster Adventures
A Pokémon TTRPG based on the original Pokémon games and all their weird eccentricities. It’s designed to be simple to pick up and play, as opposed to most other Pokémon TTRPGs.
Other TTRPG projects
Heavenly Spoon occasionally makes another short TTRPG, usually for game design jams. They can be found on their itch.io page.
Fire from the Ashes
A series of custom expansions for the Lord of the Rings LCG, which has stopped making new expansions since 2019. Fire from the Ashes aims to expand upon the existing card pool and offer some new strategies and gameplay experiences.
Custom Pokémon TCG cube
A fully-playable massive Pokémon TCG cube featuring only custom cards. It uses entirely self-made assets based on the original e-series of sets. The full set contains 1260 cards (4 of each common, 3 of each uncommon, 2 of each rare, 1 of each special rare, and 16 of each card with a dash as its rarity symbol). Each player gets a random selection of 180 cards from which they have to build a deck.
Redbubble Store
A Redbubble store which contains some of the art used in the Pokémon cube. Most of it has been taken down for copyright issues, though.
Oracle of Seasons Minecraft Texture Pack
A very outdated Minecraft texture pack based on objectively the best video game ever made. It may get updated some day, but probably not…
